The room at Villa Philis was amazing! It had a private bathroom with free toiletries, which made me feel like I was staying in a fancy hotel. The hairdryer and shower were a nice touch too. I loved having my own little oasis to freshen up after a day of exploring.
Personally, I didn't really like the hairdryer in the room. But hey, that's just me!

The location of the hotel is superb, with easy access to the town and airport. There is plenty of off-street parking available. The host, Philippe, is extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. He provides a lovely breakfast every morning. The bedrooms are clean and well-positioned, about a 10-minute walk from the town center. Philippe offers recommendations for wineries and restaurants and even helps with making reservations. The interior of the hotel has an artistic and enjoyable style.
There is a separate toilet, which may not work for everyone.

The room at Villa Philis was like a cozy little haven, with its private bathroom that had all the toiletries you could need. The hairdryer was a total lifesaver after being caught in the rain, and the shower felt like warm rain on a summer day. As a guest who values comfort and convenience, this room ticked all the boxes for me.
If I had to nitpick, the only thing I liked less was that the shower pressure was a bit low. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The room at Villa Philis was amazing! It had a private bathroom with all the goodies - free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a refreshing shower. I felt like a king/queen!
Personally, I found the shower a bit small, but hey, others might still enjoy it.

Our host, Phillipe, was absolutely incredible. He blew our minds with his wealth of knowledge about the area and his helpfulness in planning our activities. The outstanding restaurants he recommended were mind-blowing! He even made reservations for us. We couldn't believe how attentive he was, considering he only lets one room. The cozy and unique atmosphere of his house made us feel right at home, and we loved having his undivided attention. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay. The breakfast was top-notch and the location was super convenient, with an easy walking distance to the center. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, free parking, and flat-screen TV were a bonus. No pets allowed and no smoking on-site, which was perfect for us. We are still in awe of our incredible experience!

The location was perfect, just a short walk into town and easy to get to from the airport. Plenty of parking available too. We loved the breakfast provided every morning, especially the homemade jams and breads/croissants. And the bed was really comfortable, making for a great night's sleep.
That the toilet was separate from the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, especially during the night. It would have been nice to have everything together in one en-suite bathroom.
